San Diego Wedding // Kelsey & Tyler

I told you their wedding was beautiful, if you didn't catch their bridals the post before, here's more proof of how stunning the day and couple was. I love when you can just feel the happiness and love radiating from people, Kelsey & Tyler perfectly embodied that. This was their day and they wanted to celebrate it with those closest to them. I'm so happy I meet the people I have the honor of meeting... [con't]

Newport Beach Nuptials // Erin & Evan

Getting to know Erin & Evan during their bridal session made me excited for their wedding. They were sealed in the LDS Newport Beach Temple followed by a lovely ring ceremony and reception with a darling backyard wedding feel. Many of the details were hand crafted which turned out beautifully. For obvious reasons, I had to start their gallery with the photo of Erin's bouquet... [con't]

San Diego Wedding // Brooke & Dane

No better way to end the year than with a New Year's Eve wedding! Seriously, these two know how to party. Brooke & Dane are some of the most fun loving people, and it certainly showed the whole day. Check out that perfectly blush wedding skirt! I died.. plus, her reception dress fit the holiday so perfectly. The San Diego LDS temple did not disappoint. One of my favorite buildings, aesthetically. Oh, and they definitely had a sparkling cider tower to top off the night, so cool!

San Juan Capistrano Wedding // Meghann & Juan

Honestly where do I begin with these two... Meghann has been a dear friend since I can ever remember. She is one of the most kind, genuine, and positive people I know. I couldn't have been happier when she asked me to take her wedding photos. I am always grateful for my clients and friends who trust me with such an important day.

The El Adobe Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano set the perfect mood for their "I do's". Nothing was sweeter than watching Meghann's dad give her away at the alter, probably one of my favorite photos to date. Having recently met the groom, Juan, I instantly knew he was perfect for Meghann. They met in Columbia and basically have a perfect love story. Juan is such a kind hearted soul and I can tell the love that they have for each other is so deep and real.

The rest of the night was an absolute party, these two are phenomenal dancers and it definitely made for a good time. Tacos, churros, ice cream, my stomach thanked me. I had such a wonderful day with this beautiful couple who are also expecting in May! I can't wait to meet their cute little girl. Happiest of wishes to one of my favorite couples.

Newport Beach Wedding // Megan & James

I shot Megan & James engagement photos on the beach so I was really looking forward to their wedding day! Southern California in December is just a dream. We were worried about some rain but it ended up being perfect. The bride & groom's family all came from out of town so it was a really special event.

The reception was held at the Salt Creek Grille, and my favorite part was the cute milk shake bar they had! The bride & groom love milkshakes, so I thought it was a cute way to incorporate some personal details. The groom also surprised his bride with two beautiful songs he sang on the acoustic guitar, it was seriously the sweetest thing ever. Little things like that are what make a wedding so special.

Giracci Vineyard Wedding // Julie & Jack

In the beginning of fall 2015 I had the wonderful chance to meet and shoot with the talented Jenna Bechtholt. I'd been an avid fan of her work and had such a fun time during this warm, southern California autumn wedding day.

I'd say it was the most adventurous wedding yet, having crammed a wedding planner, videographer, two photographers, AND the bride and groom in one golf cart to make our way through rough terrain to locate a picturesque field. It was well worth it! Jack & Julie tied the knot with a gorgeous oak tree backdrop, topped off with lovely decorated chandeliers above them during the ceremony. It was perfect.

San Diego Wedding // Ashlyn & Dallin

Ashlyn & Dallin are like those cool people you envy because they're gorgeous and outgoing and funny, yet it's impossible to hate them. The second I met Ashlyn she made me feel like we were long lost friends. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and reminded me to eat even when I forgot! We had basically two seconds to shoot at the beach and of course they rocked every shot. Their reception not only had delicious tacos, but the absolute best churros in the world. I could have stayed put at the churro cart all night and been content. You can just feel the happiness that these two exude.

Salt Lake City Wedding // Kevin & Jordan

Kevin and Jordan are pretty much the coolest couple, they both skateboard, rock climb, and double dutch. Kevin and I met during our freshman year of college and later became climbing buddies. Once Jordan came around I immediately thought she was the raddest girl and that Kevin would be crazy to pass her up. Fast forward to December 2014 and they've tied the knot! They had such a fun wedding day and I couldn't be happier for the two of them. Here's to one of the most adventurous couples I know. Thanks for trusting me to be one of my first wedding clients!

Trabuco Canyon Intimate Wedding // Joe & Brynn

Joe and Brynn have been family friends and close friends of my brother for a long time. My brother asked me to help shoot their intimate wedding in Orange County's O'Neill Regional Park - I was excited to have one of my favorite backdrops as the location.. it was a perfect fall day and the lighting at the time of the ceremony was idyllic.

This dreamy wedding set the bar pretty dang high, and this couple and their families couldn't be any more fun or relaxed. It was more just like hanging out with some of the friendliest people and ridiculously cute kiddos. Oh, and Brynn just "threw" together her flowers and bouquet as if it were no big deal.. turned out perfectly.

Thanks to this beautiful couple and congrats again... now that spring is coming can I photograph someone else's wedding in the woods? Too much to ask? :)
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
