Los Angeles National Forest Portraits // Personal Work

Some rad photographer friends and I met up in the beautiful mountains of the Los Angeles National Forest and created a shoot just for fun. It's so important to take creative risks, especially as a photographer, and personal projects are a perfect place to experiment and just have fun. I think we shot for 3 or 4 hours and I could have gone all day. It's wonderful to get paid to do what you love, but sometimes I get so caught up in my paid jobs that I don't grow as much as I'd like to. So projects like this are perfect... [con't]

Riley Wilderness Park Senior Portraits // Haley

For a split second, southern California experienced "spring" where the oak trees were especially green and not all of the grass was dead. It was perfect. I've known this babe since she was a baby and man has she turned into a model. She's off at college now but these were her senior pictures during the spring time.

Trabuco Canyon Portraits // Sarah

I'd been dying to take my friend Sarah out for some photos, as she has the most beautiful, perfect red hair and most wildly fun personality. Naturally, we had a blast frolicking through the wilderness in Trabuco Canyon. Love this hippie wild flower child of mine.
