San Francisco Wedding Photographer // Marin Headlands Engagement Session // Paige & Garner

Okay I know I say this every time, but I'm obsessed with this engagement session. Paige & Garner trusted my wild approach to meet at a windy beach in the Marin Headlands and we also got to frolic in the super bloom of mustard wildflowers. After that we headed up to a secluded spot up higher in the hills and really embraced the wind. You guys, I LOVE wind. It can be challenging, but it makes for such dynamic images. Don't believe me? See below :)

Paige & Garner will be getting married in a cute little winery in the Napa/Sonoma area this fall, and I'm already excited to party it up with them. Enjoy this windswept yet sunshiney beach session and fall in love all over again with San Francisco. <3

SF Museum of Modern Art Engagement Session / San Francisco Wedding Photographer

Having both grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Carmen & Leland knew the city pretty well. At the time they contacted me about their engagement and wedding photos, Carmen had started working at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. A place I had been itching to go to. We started their shoot at the SFMOMA and finished off with some incredible sunset views up at Twin Peaks. I love the contrast in their session with the artsy, indoor vibes versus the outdoor views and greenery. A perfect combination for an exciting engagement shoot.

Recently, these two eloped at City Hall with their closest family members and friends, so stay tuned for that post!

I absolutely love what I do, but sometimes you fall into a creative rut or a safe zone of shooting. That's when it's important to switch things up a bit and shoot something totally different. I met Hannah & Jason who had just the thing. They met while bartending in Oakland, and wanted their photos to really represent who they are. They decided to throw a small get together with some of their closest friends at this incredible loft in Oakland and turn that into their engagement session.

I love when couples add personal touches to a shoot or a wedding, it really makes it uniquely theirs. We had planned to do an outdoor portion of the shoot right before their gathering, unfortunately it was pouring rain the whole day. Luckily we were able to reschedule the second half of their shoot (stay tuned for that blog post coming soon!) and let me just say it doesn't disappoint.

Here's a glimpse into Hannah & Jason's speakeasy themed engagement shoot, where they invited their friends to come mix a drink if they please and just have a good time.

Orange County Photographer // Erin & Evan Anniversary

I had the pleasure of photographing Erin & Evan's wedding last year, and what do you know, I guess I didn't totally suck because they brought me back down to southern California to shoot their anniversary session. I love these people! When we first met almost two years ago I knew they would be such fun people to get to know. I've remained in contact with sweet Erin through social media and love catching up with them via sharing our pets' photos. If you're an animal lover, trust me, we will definitely get along.

I love any excuse to visit southern California, but coming to see these two was the perfect excuse. It's rarely this green down there too, but with all the rain we got this winter I knew the fields would be so dreamy and lush. Take a look for yourself because it felt like a dream! We frolicked around one of my favorite spots, Riley Wilderness Park during sunset and Erin's taste in outfit choices and matching was honestly so spot on. Go see for yourself. And remember I am more than happy to travel to you!
