Brownstone Gardens Bay Area Wedding // Lyndsay & Matt

A while ago I posted about the ever so sweet Lyndsay & Matt's engagement session in San Francisco's Conservatory of Flowers. Which was AMAZING. My love for greenery and plants intensified and I could have spent all day there. Well, my dreams came true when I saw that their wedding venue would be just as lush and gardenesque as ever, at The Brownstone Gardens in Oakley, California.

Fast forward to their wedding day this past May. It was a lovely tight knit family affair centered around their love for Christ, which I thought was beautiful. Although large bridal parties kind of scare me (logistically they just take longer to shoot = leads to stress) they were some of the most helpful and kind people! I had a genuinely wonderful time with everyone that day and it was too easy to capture Lyndsay & Matt's love for each other.

I had the pleasure of having the talented Kris Turner Photography come shoot with me which is always a fun time. A few of the images below are thanks to him! I had such a hard time narrowing down my blog post choices but take a look for yourself and take in the beauty of the lush greenery and the kindness and love that emanates from these two lovers.

San Francisco City Hall Elopement // Carmen & Leland

A few posts back you can find the ever stunning engagements with Carmen & Leland. Definitely my first time shooting in a museum, but I certainly hope not my last. I knew their intimate wedding would be just as special.

We started the morning at Carmen's childhood home in the heart of San Francisco where the bride and groom and family got ready. We then headed over to San Francisco City Hall for their marriage appointment. It was really neat to be part of such a small intimate affair in such a gorgeous, historical building. After adventuring around the building for a little while after, we headed to their luncheon at the quaint Mister Jiu's in Chinatown. This is where Carmen & Leland had a small tea ceremony, which is a traditional Chinese tradition for those getting married. Again, it was awesome to be part of such a sacred and neat ceremony.

I'm excited this isn't the end of my adventures with these two! Their fun filled reception is this coming weekend and I'm stoked to party with them again and play some skeeball (yes they're hiring food trucks and skeeball machines at their reception!) Stay tuned ;)

San Francisco Wedding Photographer // Marin Headlands Engagement Session // Paige & Garner

Okay I know I say this every time, but I'm obsessed with this engagement session. Paige & Garner trusted my wild approach to meet at a windy beach in the Marin Headlands and we also got to frolic in the super bloom of mustard wildflowers. After that we headed up to a secluded spot up higher in the hills and really embraced the wind. You guys, I LOVE wind. It can be challenging, but it makes for such dynamic images. Don't believe me? See below :)

Paige & Garner will be getting married in a cute little winery in the Napa/Sonoma area this fall, and I'm already excited to party it up with them. Enjoy this windswept yet sunshiney beach session and fall in love all over again with San Francisco. <3

SF Museum of Modern Art Engagement Session / San Francisco Wedding Photographer

Having both grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Carmen & Leland knew the city pretty well. At the time they contacted me about their engagement and wedding photos, Carmen had started working at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. A place I had been itching to go to. We started their shoot at the SFMOMA and finished off with some incredible sunset views up at Twin Peaks. I love the contrast in their session with the artsy, indoor vibes versus the outdoor views and greenery. A perfect combination for an exciting engagement shoot.

Recently, these two eloped at City Hall with their closest family members and friends, so stay tuned for that post!
